Relationship with Yoga

Considering the various spiritual abilities that emerge after experiencing disembodiment, we must mention yoga, which is still the royal road in this field. The etymology of the word yoga means "integration" or "connection. What is meant by "connection" is the connection between "human beings" and "divine beings. To be more precise, yoga is the union of one's soul (Atman) and the truth of the universe (Brahman) through mental unification.
The nature of yoga is described in detail in the famous book "Yoga Sutras" (2nd-4th century B.C.).However, this book does not go into much detail on specific practices and meditation methods, and there are various commentaries on the subject.Originally, the specific methods of yoga practice were not taught in writing, but rather directly from the teacher, who transmitted the secrets of the practice. The origin of yoga is also unclear, but traces of it can be found in the Indus civilization of the 25th century B.C. (25th century B.C.).The Upanishads (4th-8th century B.C.), a compilation of ancient Indian philosophy, also describes the practice of yoga.Yoga has also had a profound influence on other religions, such as Buddhism and Tibetan esoteric Buddhism.Even the famous Buddha was a practitioner of yoga.
After I experienced out-of-body retreat, various spiritual abilities emerged, so I was very interested in this area and read a lot of literature on the spiritual world.Naturally, I also practiced and tried yoga. When I practiced pranayama (breath control methods such as Kumbhaka), the frequency of out-of-body detachment increased greatly, so I believe that yoga practices are indeed effective. However, if we focus only on the techniques of the practice, we may neglect the training of the mind, which is the most important part.I have experienced the problem of not being able to go to a better world after out-of-body withdrawal. The world you go to after out-of-body withdrawal is a reflection of your own mind, so it is very important to purify your mind.
Masaharu Naruse is probably the leading authority on yoga in Japan. There are many books written by Mr. Naruse, and those who wish to study yoga practice should definitely read his books. He also teaches yoga practice at his dojo in Tokyo.
There are many types of yoga, so let us introduce a few.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga, best known in Japan, is a form of yoga in which one absorbs the energy of prana that fills the universe and activates the cells through various postures. It is regarded by the Japanese as something akin to a beauty regimen or gymnastics. However, I have come to understand that the condition of the physical cells is actually very important to attain a deep meditative state, and I have reaffirmed the importance of practicing poses such as gymnastics. The importance of stretching is gradually being understood by modern medicine. It has been shown that stretching the muscles improves the flow of blood (prana flow) in the muscle cells and helps revitalize the cells.
Mantra Yoga
Mantra Yoga, familiar to the Japanese, is the practice of chanting mantras to unify the mind and achieve liberation.Even today, many monks in Tibetan esoteric Buddhism monasteries can often be seen on TV and in movies chanting such mantras and meditating continuously. In Japan, the chanting of mantras such as the Hannya Shingyo Sutra and Kukai's Gumonmochi Somyoho are well-known.I myself have felt the close relationship between these mantras and meditation.Unlike in the past, nowadays it is easier and more effective to listen to music or hemi-sync sounds on CD than to chant mantras. To tell the truth, I think the reason I was able to leave my body was because I adopted this method of incorporating sound into my meditations.I made my own self-guided meditation tapes and added Bach and other baroque music to them as background music, and I think I listened to them more than 100 times.Originally, this was a practice method to develop the third eye (Third Eye Acquisition Method: Gakken), but I had an out-of-body experience unexpectedly. The Monroe Institute in the U.S. has developed a more advanced meditation sound, known as the Hemisync(R) (MEMISYNC) sound.
Kundalini Yoga
For more information on the practice of Kundalini Yoga, we recommend reading Naruse's book.He introduces the method of chiatsu (pranayama) using kumbhakas and other techniques. For more information on Kundalini Yoga, I also recommend "Fire Breathing and Kundalini Yoga.I have tried Kundalini Yoga, and it is very good as far as breathing techniques (chiatsu) are concerned, so I recommend practicing it once if you are interested in leaving your body.In my case, however, my body was too stiff and I was unable to do poses such as lotus position. Also, although the power of out-of-body withdrawal is increased by this chiatsu method, do not forget to purify your mind and thoughts, as the world you will enter after the out-of-body withdrawal is a reflection of your mind.
Raja Yoga (Yoga of the King)
This is an attempt to reach God Consciousness by observing and controlling the movements of the mind (meditation). It is an attempt to watch the workings of the mind closely. It is a typical yoga practiced by monks in monasteries.
Karma Yoga
This is an attempt to overcome selfishness and ego through acts of devotion and service, and to attain liberation.
Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti-yoga is an attempt to attain liberation through love of God and other beings.
